Robert "Bob" Caddell passed away peacefully with family by his side in Coeur d'Alene on October 11, 2024. Bob was born and raised in the Silver Valley of Idaho. A resident of Couer d'Alene since the late sixties, Bob was born on November 7th, 1942, to Virginia & Robert Caddell.

In 1970, he married his beloved Wife, Marty Sharp. He worked at the Silver Valley mines for many years, where he grew multiple friends in the community. He served in the Army during the Vietnam War. Back in his younger days, his favorite things to do were outdoor activities like hunting, fishing, camping, and ATV rides with his family. Bob had two nephews from his marriage to Marty, Michael Sharp & Mark Sharp, who he raised as his own. His closeness with his nephews allowed him to be the dad he did not have to be and the "grandfather" to his biggest prides and joy, his granddaughters, Kiara Gentry (Jacob Gentry), Micaela Sharp, and Dotty Sharp.

Bob is preceded in death by his wife Marty, his parents and a sister. Bob is survived by multiple nieces, nephews, his three granddaughters and three sisters.

Instead of a funeral, we will be holding a celebration of life at the fellowship hall of CDA Adventist Church (111 E Locust Ave.) on November 9th, 2024, at 2 pm. If you knew Bob, you know his favorite thing to do was contribute to others. In lieu of flowers or gifts, the family asks you rather make a donation to the Hospice of North Idaho.
