The 5-foot-5 senior outside hitter had 16 kills, 15 digs and five aces as the top-seeded Jaguars qualified for state for the first time in program history, defeating the second-seeded Wallace Miners in five sets last Thursday at North Idaho College to win the 2A District 1 volleyball championship. "Madi has been a captain all season and high performer all season," Genesis Prep coach Paula Thurston said. "She is a great leader on and off the court."
