RITZVILLE — Friday evening, the Washington State Patrol initiated a pursuit with a red Toyota Tacoma. The vehicle was traveling southbound on Highway 395 near Ritzville at high speeds. WSP called off the pursuit but notified Adam’s County Sheriff’s Office that the vehicle was last seen driving westbound on Highway 26, according to ASCO’s release.
Then Adams County Deputies intercepted the vehicle east of Booker Road. Deputies attempted to stop the vehicle as it turned south on Booker Road. The car stopped but fled once the deputies approached the outside of their patrol vehicles.
Deputies then pursued the vehicle south on Booker Road, reaching speeds of 100 MPH. The vehicle continued to Highway 17 without stopping at a posted stop sign. Then it proceeded northbound attempting to pass a vehicle at the right. At this point, the driver appeared to lose control and the vehicle rolled several times on the roadway.
The driver was identified as Jacob Arceo, 25, of Pasco, and the passenger was Tatianna Seideman, 20 of Oldtown, Ind. Arceo is facing multiple charges including first-degree driving with a suspended license and reckless driving.
WSP will investigate the incident further.
