This late in the season, the conference standings either tighten up or the league leaders show why they are sitting atop the standings.

Whitefish is showing the latter.

Winners of six straight Northwest A Conference games, the biggest of the streak came on Tuesday, October 22 when the Lady Bulldogs avenged an earlier season loss with a 25-20, 25-17, 25-17 sweep of second-place Polson.

Previously, Whitefish had fallen in five sets to the Lady Pirates on September 24.

Myli Ridgeway led Whitefish with seven kills, and Camry Kelch had six. Allie Shors was key to the offense with 18 assists, and Kaydence Blackwell had ten assists. On defense, Maggie Mercer had 12 digs, while Kelch and Ridgeway each had eight digs.

Whitefish sits at 21-7 overall and 11-1 in conference play and is ranked as the No. 20 team in the state, according to Max Preps.
