KELLOGG — Dani Henrikson had 17 kills and four blocks as the host Wildcats improved to 6-1 with the 25-15, 13-25, 25-14, 19-25, 15-12 victory over the Tigers in nonleague play.
“Dani was just pretty consistent across the board,” Kellogg coach Stephanie Batchelder said. “She played really well and worked hard at the net for sure.”
Ella Yrjana had 32 assists and two aces, Paige Yrjana 28 digs and Ragen Oertli two aces for Kellogg.
Freshman Addie Archer had 38 digs, nine aces and seven kills for Timberlake. Amarijana Olivieri added 10 kills, Sophia Soumas 18 assists, Mya Reynoldson seven kills and six blocks, Shae Jones four blocks and four kills, Isabelle Torr 28 digs for the Tigers.

Kellogg d. St. Maries
KELLOGG — Junior Dani Henrikson had 10 kills, 15 digs, three aces and two blocks for the Wildcats in a 25-13, 25-23, 25-13 Central Idaho League win over the Lumberjacks at Andrews Gymnasium.
Freshman Ella Yrjana had 22 assists, freshman Callie Clark two blocks and sophomore Jordyn Stutzke 15 digs for Kellogg.
“Dani’s been our stud lately and in general this season,” Kellogg coach Stephanie Batchelder said. “We were being aggressive and attacking all night. The girls didn’t back off from swinging, and they had a hard time responding to that.”
Sophomore Meijah Yearout had eight kills, senior Mia Asbury 18 assists and seven digs, senior Naomi Mueller four aces and two blocks and sophomore Raevyn Yearout five kills and 10 digs for St. Maries.

Wallace d. Clark Fork
WALLACE — The host Miners swept the Wampus Cats 25-19, 25-15, 25-18 in Scenic Idaho Conference play at Kirby Krulitz Court.
Sisters Bethany and Kylee Phillips carried the bulk of the load for Wallace with Kylee finishing with 11 digs and four aces, while Bethany notched nine kills and one block.
Setter Aubrey Birdsell notched 26 assists, one ace, and nine digs. Libero Amie Strange also earned seven digs.

WALLACE — Bethany Phillips had 10 aces for the Miners in a 25-14, 25-13, 25-2 win over the Warriors at Kirby Krulitz Court.
Kayden Stutzke and Aubrey Birdsell had 10 assists each for Wallace.

Lakeside JV d. Mullan
MULLAN — Izzy Kee had 10 assists and two kills as the visiting Knights junior varsity downed the Tigers 25-9, 25-18, 25-20 at the Mullan Pavilion.
Paola Lozon had five aces, four kills and three digs for the Lakeside JV. Alayla Matheson had three kills and three aces, Sadie Leo three digs.
“Izzy was a huge hustler for our team tonight; she helped make some great plays,” Lakeside JV coach Corin Peone said. “Alayla had some great passes in the back row and made some great plays at the net. Sadie Leo came in at all angles tonight, playing a part in each spot on the court. Paola was my strongest server tonight, and also played a huge role at the net.”

CLARK FORK — Freshman quarterback Cooper Miller accounted for 381 yards and six touchdowns for the Miners in a North Star League win over the Wampus Cats.
Sophomore Emmitt Myles had three receptions for 108 yards, all for touchdowns and junior Alex Grubbs added 158 yards rushing for two touchdowns for Wallace. After starting the season 3-0, the Miners will spend this week getting ready for their toughest test of the season when they go on the road to take on Lakeside.
Junior Solomon Holderman ran for 119 yards and two touchdowns for Clark Fork.

ASHTON — It was a good news, bad news situation for the Wildcats.
Kellogg opened the game with a flurry of offense that allowed them to score on their first two drives of the game – a vast improvement from their season opener against Moscow. The bad news was that they could not stop the Huskies’ rushing attack.
Kellogg came into the game with some serious injury issues and may have to navigate a few more as they head into their Central Idaho League opener at home against St. Maries this Friday.

ST. REGIS –– The host Tigers ran past the Vikings in Montana 8-Man conference play.
The Tigers travel to Arlee this week to continue conference play.

University of Idaho Icebreaker
MOSCOW –– A pair of injuries didn’t stop the Silver Valley Swimmers from setting nine new personal records and a new team record at the U of I Icebreaker.
Annika Kessler set a new school record in the 500-meter freestyle with a time of 8.20.96. Kessler also set a new personal record in the 100-meter backstroke.
Aubrey Parks broke both of her personal records in the 50-meter freestyle and 100-meter freestyle.
Aliyah Birdsell set a new personal record in the 200-meter freestyle.
Sophia Berry set a new personal record in the 50-meter and the 100-meter freestyle.
Aaron Berry set two new personal records today in the 50-meter freestyle-meter and the 100-meter breaststroke.
Ember Meyer set a personal record in the 50-meter freestyle.
The Silver Valley Swim Team will compete this weekend at the Kroc Center in Coeur d’Alene.
