Barbara Darlene (Barb) Kincaid

Barbara Darlene (Bebb) Kincaid, passed away on Sept. 7, 2024, in Plains after a short battle with cancer.  

Barb, as she was known to friends and family, was born to Bill and Fay (Wilson) Bebb on Jan. 24, 1957, in Ephrata, Wash., the youngest of eight siblings, whom she loved dearly. 

Barb married her best friend Michael Kincaid June 25, 1988, in Quincy, Wash. In 2021 they retired and moved from Spokane, Wash., to Plains where Barb quickly became active in many volunteer roles and organizations. She was always happy and willing to help. She loved her family deeply, was a trivia enthusiast and had a large collection of hummingbirds.  

Barb was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Fay Bebb and sisters, Diane Bebb; Ila Alldredge. She is survived by her husband, Michael; son Nathan (Daniella) Lee of Decatur, Texas; five grandchildren; brothers, Dean (Tracy) Bebb of Plains, Loren Bebb of Prairie City, Ore.; sisters, Linda (Kendal) Andrus of Idaho Falls, Idaho, Vonnie (Don) House of Baker City, Ore., Shirley (Tim )Dreher of Quincy, Wash.; and multiple nieces and nephews. 

Her beautiful smile, cheerful optimism and grand display of Christmas lights will be greatly missed by all. A celebration of life will be held at 3 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 28, 2024, at the Free Methodist church, 301 I Street SW, in Quincy, Wash. All are welcomed to join the family for a meal to follow.
