Gonzaga-USF game again set for Chase Center
SAN FRANCISCO — For the second straight year, the Gonzaga-San Francisco West Coast Conference men's basketball game will be played at the 18,064-seat Chase Center, the venue announced.
The game is scheduled for March 1. Game times and broadcast details will be announced at a later date.
USF's on-campus arena, War Memorial Gymnasium, seats 5,300.
Tickets for the game will go on sale to the general public next Wednesday at 10 a.m. at chasecenter.com.
Last season, Gonzaga pulled away from the Dons before 6,480 in the Chase Center, 86-68. GU has won the last 30 meetings against San Francisco dating back to 2012.
USF returns seven players, including All-WCC selections Marcus Williams, Malik Thomas, Ndewedo Newbury and Ryan Beasley. The Dons brought in transfers Carlton Linguard Jr. (UTSA) and Jason Rivera-Torres (Vanderbilt). Chris Gerlufsen enters his third year as head coach of the Dons.
