MOSES LAKE — Several federal search warrants were served March 30 in the greater Moses Lake area by the Moses Lake Police Street Crimes Unit Detectives who also serve as Task Force Officers for the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.

The search warrants had to go with an ongoing investigation into Greg Wilson for methamphetamine and fentanyl sales, along with unlawful possession of firearms, according to a statement from MLPD.

During the search, detectives discovered around 1.4 pounds of methamphetamine, 9.5 ounces of fentanyl powder and 1,533 fentanyl pills.

Wilson was booked into the Spokane County Jail on his federal drug charges as well as unlawful firearm possession charges from an incident in 2023, according to the statement. Wilson is being prosecuted by the United States Attorney’s Office in the Eastern District of Washington.

Local leaders say community voices shape schools, cities and trust

WARDEN — When Warden Mayor Rosaelia Martinez looked out over the audience at the April 28 Warden City Council meeting, she didn’t see empty seats. She saw neighbors. “First of all, before we start, I want to say thank you to all those that came to the meeting tonight,” Martinez said. “I know we are all busy people, and I really appreciate your input. Your time is valuable and we appreciate you being here.” That message – that showing up matters – was echoed by city and school leaders across the Columbia Basin, many of whom say public participation directly shapes decision-making, transparency and long‑term planning.
