Leta C. Owens, 74

Leta C. Owens, from Columbia Falls, passed away on April 2, 2025, at the age of 74. Leta was born to the late Lee Edward Puckett and Shirley Pucket (Boggess) on Feb. 20, 1951, in Louisville, Kentucky.

Leta loved playing games, dancing, reading books, and going out on the town for special occasions with family and friends. She loved Montana, hunting, horseback riding, and being a mother of two and a grandma of three. Professionally, Leta worked for multiple law firms in the Flathead Valley as a legal secretary for over 30 years. She had a strong Christian faith and a fiery spirit.

Leta was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her former husband and life partner of 52 years, Daniel Owens, children, Jason (Jennifer) Owens and Jonathan Owens and three grandchildren, Michael, Ruby and Trey. Also surviving Leta are her brothers, Mike and Gary and her sister, Lynn.
