The Bigfork Chamber's next Sundowner networking event is April 10 at the Flathead Lake Brewery cohosted with Bigfork Rotary from 5 to 6:30 pm. The public is welcome and there is no cost to attend.

Cowabunga shows

Get ready for a night of unforgettable fun at Cowabunga with "Saturday Night Live...on the Farm" — the Bigfork Summer Playhouse annual fundraising variety show. Featuring an incredible lineup of singing, dancing, skits, live instruments and more, this show promises a barnyard full of laughs and talent. From musical performances to hilarious SNL farm-themed sketches, there's something for everyone. The shows are April 11-12 at 7:30 p.m. at the Bigfork Center for the Performing Art. Purchase tickets at ci.ovationtix.com/35549/production/1213810. Proceeds will benefit Bigfork ACES and Bigfork Playhouse Children's Theater.

Reed's Slough grand opening

Celebrate the grand opening of the Reed’s Slough Wildlife Viewing Area on Saturday, April 12, from 10-11 a.m. at the corner of Manning and North Somers Road, Kalispell. This new viewing area is situated on private land graciously provided by the Danford family and is protected by a conservation easement held by Flathead Land Trust. Thanks to funding from Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks and partners, the public can now enjoy this vital wetland habitat, a key stop for migratory waterfowl.  

Community Choir

The Columbia Falls Community Choir is preparing for their spring concert at the Columbia Falls High School Little Theater on Saturday, April 12 at 7 p.m. This year’s concert features music to celebrate family and friends. The concert is directed by Steven Holte and accompanied by Dawn Hashley.  A freewill offering will be accepted.

Bigfork Job Fair

The Bigfork Job Fair is April 16 at Bigfork High School. The fair is an opportunity to meet with employers from Bigfork and the Flathead Valley who are looking for employees. The fair is open to Bigfork students from 1-3 p.m. Encore and retirees can attend 3:30-4:30 p.m., and general public is welcome from 4:30-5 p.m.

Water and sewer meeting

Bigfork Water and Sewer District Board Meeting will take place at 6 p.m. on April 16 at the high school community room, 600 Commerce Street.
