Earth Day celebration Saturday

Community members of all ages are invited to the Coeur d’Alene Public Library’s annual Earth Day celebration from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, with activities in the library’s community room and outside near McEuen Park.

This year’s theme is “Our Power, Our Planet” and will highlight renewable energy sources like solar, wind, geothermal, hydro and tidal energy. There will be educational booths, a family story time at 10 a.m. and live performances by the Sorensen World Drummers, Sorensen Step Dancers and Ripple Dance Academy.
