Sandpoint issues 'no dogs' reminder at City Beach

SANDPOINT — City staff reminded residents Wednesday that the rule prohibiting residents from bringing dogs to City Beach’s pathway, park and shoreline has gone back into effect. 

Each year from April 15 to Sep. 15, the city bans dogs in all areas of the park except the parking lot and boat launch. Failure to comply may result in a civil citation fee.

City staff gave an additional reminder to keep dogs leashed during walks and other excursions around town.
