BCSO seeks help in finding suspect

The Bonner County Sheriff’s Office is requesting the public’s help in locating a man wanted for rape and attempted strangulation.

Sought is 32-year-old Joshua Charles Snyder. In the press release, posted to the BCSO social media account, the man is listed as 6-foot-2-inches and 185 pounds. Sheriff’s office officials said Snyder works in construction and has been known to work at Walmart in Ponderay and Spokane. 

An arrest warrant issued April 25 for Snyder charges him with one count of rape and one count of attempted strangulation. Snyder’s bond is set at $250,000 and is nationwide extraditable.  

Originally from Oklahoma, Snyder drives a silver 2020 Dodge 3500 with Oklahoma plates “QDM811.”
