Rickert defends Inland Empire title

Sandpoint High sophomore Pepper Rickert won the Inland Empire tennis tournament, the largest high school tennis tournament in the nation, held this past Friday, April 25 and Saturday, April 26 at various sites in the Greater Spokane area. She battled University High's Kaitee Alteneder in the girls' singles championship match and won in straight sets (6-1, 6-0).
