The senior pitcher won her last four starts, including a one-hitter at Post Falls and a no-hitter at Lakeland, to help the Vikings win the Inland Empire League in softball. “Leah is the gift that keeps on giving,” Coeur d’Alene coach Bobbi Darretta said. “All of this started in Lewiston; Leah hit the ball so hard there that all the defensive players backed out of the way. Leah also hit a home run against Lakeland which was probably the furthest ball I’ve ever seen hit. I’ve been very impressed with Leah’s growth as a pitcher, hitter, and captain.”
