Free Parkinson's seminar Friday at Coeur d'Alene Library

A free Living Well with Parkinson's seminar will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. Friday at the Coeur d'Alene Public Library.

Dr. Karin Duncan of Coeur d'Alene Healing Arts will serve as the master of ceremonies. Guest speakers will include Sucheta Beheray, a pharmacist with field-based clinical liaison expertise in neuroscience who will discuss Parkinson's medications and the Vyalev subcutaneous pump; nutritionist Kristi Gabbert, who will speak about the value of omega-3 for people with Parkinson's; and neurosurgeon Dr. Erik Larson, who will discuss deep-brain stimulation surgery.

The seminar will be presented by the Coeur d'Alene Parkinson's Support Group. Registration is not required.
