Margery (Midge) Cronk Braman of Spokane passed away unexpectedly April 17, 2025, at the age of 89.

Her journey through life was filled with family, friends, and wonderful memories. Her relationship with her Lord was her anchor.

She was born in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, on Dec. 24, 1935, to Forrest Cronk and Genevieve Maitland Cronk. She was raised on the farm in the Worley area and attended Worley School. She was married to George Braman for 52 years until his passing. She was blessed to have had four children: Ron Braman (Lois) in Fairbanks, Staci Clark (Rex) in Spokane, Sheila Schmidt (Kevin) in Spokane, and Brent Braman (deceased).

She retired from the U.S. Postal Service after serving 30 years, during which time she made lifelong friendships. She enjoyed Lake Coeur d’Alene, “her happy place," and spent many years living in Cave Bay, Idaho. She also spent 25 years wintering in Yuma, Ariz.

She enjoyed the simple things in life — a good cup of coffee, hairdos, flowers, boating, golf, remembering special days with special people, grandchildren's activities, church, family and travelling. Her travels were spent with her husband, George, her sister, Geraldine Drechsel, and her brother, Mike Cronk, who went on road trips and cruises and visited over 25 countries.

Midge was preceded in death by her husband, George, her parents, son Brent, brother Mike and several nieces and nephews.

Midge valued her commitment to family and friends. Her wonderful grandchildren, their spouses and 14 great-grandchildren enriched her life.

Private service of celebration will be at the Bethel Cemetery in Steptoe, Wash., at a later date.
