Last week, eight St. Regis High School students participated in a job readiness program sponsored by Missoula College. The Job Site Ready program is a job-preparedness training designed to equip learners with the work experience and essential skills to start an entry-level job in the Construction trades. Applicants will walk away with exposure to tool use and maintenance, materials handling, workplace safety, industrial practices, and project management. Now that the shed is completed, the plan is to auction it off for St. Regis School, and the proceeds will go towards the shop program for buying more lumber to produce more sheds. If you are interested in purchasing this shed, a silent auction will take place starting on April 24, and ending on May 15 at 4:00 pm.
