Police Calls: Car hockey deemed unsafe

April 11
When a dog versus dog attack occurred, the human who attempted to intervene was bitten. Both dog owners remained on the scene.
A youth was seen in a parking lot on Baker Avenue leaning out of an open vehicle door holding a hockey stick.
A caller reported hearing a rustling sound through the kitchen window that stopped when he turned on the light.
The upstairs neighbors on Pheasant Run were having a party. Aside from the noise being bothersome, the caller was also concerned the partygoers may be driving drunk when they leave.
April 13
Someone lost a brown, cream and green striped purse containing a wallet, ID and credit cards.
The caller locked his keys in his vehicle on Second Street.
The driver of a black Escalade with California plates was parked in a handicap spot on 13th Street.
A white male was “yelling at everything” on Fifth Street.
April 14
After driving erratically and dangerously, the driver stopped at a location on Highway 93 and told the police he was driving poorly due to a bad transmission. He had been travelling at 85 MPH when he passed the police in the center turn lane. While he was being cited, the driver cleaned out his vehicle, throwing food items out the passenger window. After being asked to pick them up, he did.
Someone left a wallet at a business on Wisconsin Avenue and hasn't returned to claim it.
A female was seen jiggling door handles of vehicles at a location on Highway 93. An employee at the location would like the female to be contacted and counseled.
People were sitting on the curb in front of a store on 13th Street, selling puppies. The caller thought they needed a permit to do so and wanted them moved along.
A male was seen driving a silver Impala recklessly, speeding and passing dangerously on Highway 93.
