Freewind martial artists compete in Kennewick

KENNEWICK – On Saturday, Freewind Martial Arts studio traveled to Kennewick for the Battle on the Columbia tournament. Several students represented Freewind throughout the day in sparring, weapons and stick sparring competitions. Full coverage of Freewind’s performance in the tournament will be in Tuesday’s edition of the paper.

MOSES LAKE — The Moses Lake Mavericks (2-0) are off to a strong start to their season after defeating the West Valley Rams 54-24 Tuesday. Head Coach Jose Tanguma said he was glad to see his wrestlers make improvements.
