Wings Over Sandpoint event on tap

SANDPOINT — Enjoy an unex-plane-able event put on by EEA Chapter 1441 on Aug. 16 as pilots show off their aircraft to the public. 

The 19th annual Wings over Sandpoint will take place from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and is a family friendly event that’s free to attend. Located at Granite Aviation, aviation lovers and average joes alike can experience a variety of aircraft, and maybe even some classic cars.  

Some of the aircraft featured during the showcase include seaplanes and experimental aircraft, and many others as well.  

A pancake breakfast will take place from 8-10:30 a.m. Meal tickets are $12 for adults and $8 for children under 12. After breakfast, hot dogs and sodas will be available for purchase.
