Child care grants  

Through Zero to Five Montana’s Family Forward Initiative, in partnership with the Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services Bright Futures Birth to Five program, a second round of grant funding is available for Montana employers to develop employer-sponsored child care solutions. Grants will range from $10,000 to $100,000 depending on the size and scope of the employer’s project plan. Interested employers can apply at familyforwardmt.org by 9 p.m. on Aug. 24. 


Coffee with the Chamber  

The Columbia Falls Area Chamber of Commerce joins for their August Coffee with the Chamber event is on Aug. 5, from 8:30 – 9:30 a.m. at All Day Dog Adventures, located at 734 9th St. W.  in Columbia Falls.  


Legal Forum Update

Join Jaymie Bowditch with the Northwest Montana Association of Realtors on Aug. 5, as he speaks to all the hot topics happening in this industry. This class runs 9 a.m. to noon, and is an open forum style class where Bowditch will answer questions as conversations develop. Taking place virtually and in-person at NMAR, 2282 U.S. 93 S., Suite B
in Kalispell. 


Ribbon Cutting  

Join the Columbia Falls Area Chamber at Sundrop Health Foods’ new location on Aug. 6, from 4 to 5 p.m. for an official ribbon-cutting ceremony.  The event is open to the public and includes a tour of the new location and meeting the owners, located at 706 Nucleus Ave., in Columbia Falls. 


Business Buzz at Clydesdale Creamery

Set for the first Thursday of each month from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m., taking place Aug. 7 at Clydesdale Creamery, 16 Baker Ave. in Whitefish. Business Buzz offers members an opportunity to get caffeinated while catching up on the latest from the Chamber staff and sharing the latest on their own business with other local business owners and managers. 


Grand Opening at Parkline Towers  

Join the Kalispell Chamber of Commerce on Aug. 7 for the opening of Parkline Towers, a new apartment complex located at 820 E. Idaho St. in Kalispell. The event starts at 4 p.m.
