Rhonda Lynn (Mellem) Guay, 66, passed away after a brief illness on July 29, 2025, with her three daughters, a son-in-law, her best friend she met in high school and husband, Larry, at her side. Rhonda was very proud of her girls, always amazed at the wonderful people they had grown into. She loved all animals, even occasionally rescuing her husband by catching a spider and letting it go outside.
When her girls were little, she was a stay-at-home mom, always cooking great meals and staying on top of all the household chores. She used to make their Halloween costumes and even sewed everybody's Christmas stockings. As the girls got older, she began to work outside the home. She worked in home health care for a number of years, where her compassion really shone through as she helped elderly and disabled folks navigate their daily challenges. Later, she became a licensed hearing aid dispenser. Again, her compassion made her a perfect fit for the field. She always put her clients' best interests first. If she fit you with hearing aids, it was because she truly felt you would benefit, not because she wanted to "make a sale."
Rhonda and Larry retired together in 2018.
She is survived by Larry, daughters Jessica Pullman and husband Tyler, Alexandra Guay and husband Vince Herrara and Alyssa Guay. She is also survived by three fantastic grandsons, Jake, Evan and Mason; great-granddaughter Caroline and best friend Barbara Lipp.
A family celebration of life will be held soon. In lieu of flowers, she would have greatly appreciated donations to Albert's Angels Fund, the Humane Society, or any charity of your choice.
