MOSES LAKE — The Moses Lake School District has announced the appointment of two new assistant principals for the upcoming 2025-26 school year. Annie Hindman has been named assistant principal at Columbia Middle School, while Teri Clark will take on the same role at Frontier Middle School.

Hindman, a veteran educator with over 15 years of experience, previously served as the principal of Warden Middle School. Her background includes roles as a school counselor and summer school director, along with leadership positions within the district, such as principal intern and assessment coordinator.

She holds a Master of Education in School Counseling from Heritage University and a Principal Certificate from Eastern Washington University.

“We are very excited for Annie to join our Columbia Middle School team,” said Scott Peterson, principal at Columbia Middle School. “Given her experience as a counselor in many capacities, Annie has the ability to connect with students to aid in their growth both academically and socially-emotionally. With her experience as a principal, her skills in systems leadership will be an instant boost for our team.”

Clark joins the Frontier Middle School staff after serving as an administrative intern in the Monroe School District. She has been recognized for her efforts in developing professional development programs and improving family-school partnerships.

Clark holds a Master of Science in Educational Leadership from Western Governors University and is also a National Board-Certified Teacher. Her role extends beyond administration, as she will serve as the athletic director for both Frontier and Endeavor middle schools.

“Teri brings an incredible passion for both students and staff, and we’re excited to welcome her to our team,” said James Yonko, principal of Frontier Middle School. “Her student-first mindset and commitment to academic growth and working with diverse groups will strengthen the culture we’re building at Frontier.”
