Mary Catherine Dugan Williamson, affectionately known as "Bunny," passed away peacefully on July 31, 2025, with her husband at her side. Mom was born on Sept. 24, 1938, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Michael J.A. Dugan and Mary McNulty Dugan.

Mom and Dad (Dennis Brad Williamson) met in Great Falls and on Dec. 7, 1963, they were married in Cheyenne, Wyoming where Mom’s parents were residing at the time. They settled in Whitefish and their home grew to hold five daughters.

Her career in nursing was marked by dedication and caring. She began her career in Great Falls and continued at North Valley Hospital in Whitefish for 30 years.

When Mom and Dad retired, they traveled around the United States taking it all in and making friends along the way. They settled down once again, this time in Missoula near two of their girls.

Mom leaves behind her loving husband, Brad, their daughters, Windy (Craig) Petersen of Missoula, Dena Voshell of Buckley, Washington, Denise Davidson of Columbia Falls, Jennifer Williamson of Missoula, Kathleen (Robb) Howell of Medford, Oregon. 

She is survived by grandchildren, Nicole, Jessica and Cody (Windy and Craig), Heather, Tonja and Tad (Dena), Derik and Jonah (Denise), Emma (Jennifer), Blake, Ian, Bruner and Nick (Kathleen and Robb). With nine greats and one on the way in October. In June Mom became a great-great grandmother. She also leaves behind her niece and nephew of Alaska, Megan McBride and Sean McBride.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Michelle McBride, grandchildren, Kole Swartz, Ann Petersen and great-grandchildren, Khloe Petersen and Levi Pimm.

A celebration of Mom's life will begin at Blessed Trinity Catholic Community with a rosary and viewing on Aug. 6, Wednesday evening at 6 p.m. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 7. With a luncheon to be provided after Mass.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, Aug. 8 at Glacier Memorial Gardens in Kalispell.

She will be dearly missed but fondly remembered, her spirit forever cherished. Mom's life was a testament to kindness and love and strength.
