Police Calls: One lonely game of corn hole

July 16 

A vehicle was reported stolen. 

Two abandoned vehicles have been on the property on Colorado Avenue for over six months. The owners were found to live nearby, making it OK that the vehicles were there. 

An incident of road rage happened on Baker Avenue. 

A caller reported having been scammed out of over $22,000 in a Venmo transaction. 

A black and white terrier mix with a rainbow collar was running loose on O’Brien Avenue. 

People were reportedly camping in a field near houses off Spruce Court. 

The caller said it sounded like an argument on Central Avenue, that had been going on for about 40 minutes, was getting physical. 

July 17 

The window of a vehicle on East Seventh Street was smashed. 

There was a hit and run on Highway 93 involving a black Jeep and a white Ford. 

The caller thought someone’s vehicle came open on Highway 93 because there were groceries, clothing and soda scattered all over. 

A rental RV was parked on the street with the driver door facing the curb and it was blocking the caller’s driveway on Lupfer Avenue. 

Someone found a Wake Surf Swell trim adapter at the beach and turned it in to the police station. 

A corn hole game was set up on Central Avenue, but no one was playing. 

It was reported that a dog was tied up in the sun without shelter on Edgewood Place. The canine was found to have shelter and water. 

A caller’s son was playing with the phone and accidentally dialed 911. 

The driver of one vehicle sideswiped another vehicle in a parking lot on Highway 93. No one was injured. 

There was, reportedly, a loud party on Lacy Lane.
