The Flathead Valley Youth Chorus is accepting audition submissions for its second season.

The chorus invites all students in grades three through six who love to sing to audition.

Auditions are designed to be simple and accessible. Interested students can submit their audition by recording a video of themselves singing "Happy Birthday," then submit the form found at fvyc.org/apply

"We are unbelievably proud of the foundation we built in our first season and are looking forward to growing our chorus," said Nathan Connell, executive director and accompanist for the Flathead Valley Youth Chorus. "This is a wonderful opportunity for young singers in the Flathead Valley to develop their musical skills, build confidence, and share their love of music with other students who share that passion. Seeing the smiles every week at rehearsal were truly inspiring."

The choir has space for 50 singers, and once spots are full, auditions will close.

Rehearsals are held on Thursdays from 4:15 to 5:30 p.m. at Flathead High School. Tuition rates are $450 for the year.

The mission of the Flathead Valley Youth Chorus is to provide children the opportunity to develop choral performance skills under the direction of accomplished music professionals and experience the joy of sharing music through community performances. For more information, visit fvyc.org.
