The Swish 2025 3v3 basketball tournament returned to Main Street Bonners Ferry after almost a decade of absence.

Hosted by Elevate Boundary County, Saturday's event featured 46 teams of all ages from Boundary County, Sandpoint, Coeur d'Alene, Libby and Priest River. Over 20 local businesses sponsored the event.

In the midst of the all-day tournament, Main Street businesses and the famers market filled with customers to create a lively scene.

Elevate Boundary County is a non-profit organization established in 2025 by local Bonners Ferry High School alumni, with the mission of raising funds to build a community recreation center. In last month's Boundary County School District board meeting, members discussed leasing several acres of land adjacent to Valley View Elementary for the recreation center project at a generous price to support the effort and collaborate on the project.
