Twenty-two nonprofits across the region will receive a combined $380,000 in support from Numerica Credit Union through its 2025 Numerica Charitable Fund.

This year’s funding is focused on advancing Numerica CARES for Kids, a philanthropic initiative dedicated to uplifting children and families.

The Numerica Charitable Fund supports organizations providing essential services such as safe housing, trauma-informed care and educational resources.

North Idaho recipients include:

• Third Avenue Marketplace
• Boys and Girls Club of Kootenai County
• Coeur d’Alene Backpack Program
• Safe Passage

Safe Passage was one of four nonprofits in its third year of $100,000 multi-year grants.

“Numerica CARES for Kids is our commitment to ending youth poverty by supporting programs that create real, lasting change,” Carla Cicero, Numerica president and CEO, said in a Tuesday news release.
