Nancy Lee Solberg, 73, left this world on July 16, 2025, from congestive heart failure while living in Whitefish. She was born to Albert and Mary (Swenson) Solberg on Feb. 12, 1952.

Nancy grew up on a farm in the West Valley area and was a 4-H member raising blue ribbon steers. She attended Hedges, Russell and West Valley schools and graduated from Flathead County High School in 1970.

She was talented in many handcrafts, making baskets, knitting and crocheting. She loved playing cards and when paying Pinochle, she would get a big smile on her face and twinkle in her eye as she kept bidding and ended up with 1000 aces! She would complete word search books in a day.

She had a very challenging life with health issues but through it all, Nancy was very loving, generous person.

We know she is at peace now because she was ready to meet the Lord.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Sarah, grandparents, Ben and Elaine Solberg, Nellie and Axel Swenson.

She is survived by her three sons, Joel, Tim (Sara), and Luke (Amy), four grandchildren, sister, Merdie (Ron) Hartsoch, brother, Duane (Karen) Solberg and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Johnson-Gloschat Funeral Home is caring for the family. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Aug.16 at Glacier Memorial Gardens.
