This week’s poster player of the week presented by Corwin Motors goes to Andre Cephers of the Kalispell AA Lakers.
While the state tournament go quite as they hoped, Andre had a strong performance over the three-game tournament where the Lakers lost the opener to the Billings Scarlets 2-1 in a close game, beat Great Falls 4-1 before falling to the Billings Royals 3-2 in extra innings to end their season.
Over the three-game stretch, Cephers went 3-for-7 with a double, two RBIs, three runs scored and reached base in every game, including the finale where he drew two walks.
He also pitched the opening game, going three innings allowing three hits and two earned runs, putting his team in a position to win the game.
Congratulations on a great baseball season and congratulations to Andre Cephers for winning this week’s poster player of the week honors.
