Karen Rosenberg, 63

Karen Jill Rosenberg was born March 12, 1962, in Chicago, Ill. She had a younger sister, Julie Tetens who passed away in 2022. As a kid she was known to have a rebellious spirit and often was a light-hearted troublemaker. 

In her early 20s, she married her first husband, which resulted in two children: Ashley Deveney when Karen was 25 and Joseph Deveny III (Trey) when she was 26. After her divorce, she moved from Texas to Sandpoint, Idaho, where she would call home for the remainder of her life. 

When she was in her 30s, she met and married Thomas Rosenberg, who she would be with until his passing in 2021. At age 35, she’d have her last child, William Rosenberg. Prior to her third child, she had a long career as a waitress but became a homemaker, something she got immense joy from.

Karen enjoyed gardening, collecting antiques, and cards, something which she would pass to her youngest child. She was a kind, compassionate woman who is survived by her aforementioned children. 

She passed away July 31, 2025, and while months of failing health had trailed behind her, she made certain that her kids knew just how much she loved them.
