America’s most dangerous sport came to Bonners Ferry last weekend, where few dared to mount the 1,600-pound, ivory-horned beasts — and fewer managed to hang on. 



The Bonners Ferry Bulls and Broncs event took over the Outdoor Arena on Aug. 8 and 9 during the Boundary County Fair, drawing riders from across the Pacific Northwest. Each came with the same goal: to last a full eight seconds atop their bucking animal.

It brings me no joy to announce that this is my final piece for the Bonners Ferry Herald.
