Levity Theatre will host two performances of "Improvised D&D Adventures" at 7 p.m. Aug. 22 and 29 at First Presbyterian Church, 521 E. Lakeside Ave., Coeur d'Alene.

These interactive comedy shows are inspired by the fantasy world of "Dungeons & Dragons," a popular fantasy role-playing game. Audience members will shape the journey from start to finish, suggesting characters, rolling giant 20-sided dice and influencing actors' paths throughout the show, all made up right then and there.

"This show is fun for fans of 'D&D' or regular comedy attendees,” Noah Johnson, Levity Theatre founder and showrunner, said in an Aug. 8 news release. “I’m really amped up about it because it’s a show we’ve never done before, and those are always the most exciting.”

Admission is $16 for adults, $11 for children ages 6-17 and free for children 5 and younger. Visit levitytheatre.com/shows for tickets. Those who do not pre-order tickets will be charged a $4 surcharge at the door.
