Dustin William Bryan, 49
Daily Inter-Lake | UPDATED 7 months, 4 weeks AGO
Dustin Bryan was born in 1976 to Gary and Joyce Bryan. He grew up with his brother, Shane, on the family's riverfront property in Columbia Falls. Growing up on the river, he developed a passion for anything outdoors — fishing, swimming, rafting, snowmobiling — you name it!
He was well known for his deep love of the river and was known to remove sweepers for the safety of others. Not exclusive to outdoor activities, he also enjoyed field sports and was an accomplished baseball player and coach. In his adult life, he enjoyed bowling and was on several leagues. If you knew him, you know he loved rooting for the Dallas Cowboys and never turned down a new Cowboys shirt! Professionally, he was the best truck driver we knew, and he could drive anything! But his talent and creativity didn't end there as he was an avid hobbyist. He was always creating or inventing something new. His favorite season was summer, and he loved a long sunny day on the water wrapped up with a big, beautiful sunset! He loved enjoying a big, flashy Fourth of July and dropping a hilarious one-liner any time there was some excitement happening.
Whenever you see an especially beautiful sunset or light up the sky with fireworks, know that our dad is there enjoying it with you! Dustin was a huge part of our lives and he leaves a huge hole in our hearts. We will miss him so much.
He joins his mother, father, and beloved brother, Shane, in heaven.
He will be greatly missed by his wife, Stephanie; stepdaughters, Rose and Viola; son, Taylor; daughter, Celina; niece, Ashley, and several extended family members.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 30, at Canvas Church in Kalispell near the college. At 2:30 p.m., we will invite those who knew him to meet at Presentine Bar to celebrate his life in true Dustin fashion — enjoying the water and reminiscing. All who knew him are welcome to attend either event.
