Fegert, Hatten named to Idahosports.com Preseason All-State Team

PRIEST RIVER — Priest River High junior Nate Fegert, running back and strong safety, and senior Brady Hatten, offensive and defensive tackle, were named to the Preseason 3A All-State Football Team, announced Tuesday by Idahosports.com.

Fegert, standing at 5-foot-9-inches and 180 pounds, rushed for 651 yards on 53 attempts (12.3 yards per carry) and six touchdowns in 2024, even adding an 11-yard receiving touchdown to his totals. On defense, he recorded 57 tackles, nine for a loss, and two sacks to go along with four fumble recoveries.

Hatten, standing at 6-foot-4-inches and 260 pounds, is a mainstay on both the offensive and defensive side of the ball. Defensively, he tallied 40 total tackles, nine for a loss, and one-and-a-half sacks to go along with a fumble recovery for the Spartans a year ago.

Idahosports.com used a variety of factors to make these selections, including, but not limited to, previous All-State or All-Conference accolades, recruiting hype, and preseason coaches' comments and assessments.
