NO. 2833 NOTICE FOR PUBLIC COMMENT REQUEST FOR FLOODPLAIN DEVELOPMENT PERMIT The City of Whitefish Floodplain Administrator has received the following Floodplain Development Permit application: A permit request by Brandon Theis, on behalf of the City of Whitefish, for a floodplain development permit to reinforce and stabilize the existing boat ramp and associated infrastructure at Whitefish City Beach. The proposed work consists of the removal of 202 cubic yards of lakebed substrate, replaced with 111 cubic yards of riprap and 19 cubic yards of pre-cast concrete slabs, resulting in a net cut of 72 cubic yards of material below the high water elevation of 3000.79 within the 100-year floodplain of Whitefish Lake. The property is located at Texas Avenue, Whitefish, MT and can be legally described as Lot A, Block B, Whitefish, Section 26, Township 31N, Range 22W, P.M.M., Flathead County.
