Planning, zoning commission applications due Friday

Bonner County is now accepting applications for individuals interested in planning and land use to serve on the county’s Planning Commission and Zoning Commission.  

All applicants must have resided in Bonner County for the last two years and must continue their residency in the county throughout the duration of the applicable commission term.  

According to the county website, there are three seats up for election on the Planning Commission and two for the Zoning Commission.  

All individuals selected to fill the county seats will be appointed to the position from Oct. 1, 2025, through Sept. 30, 2028.  

Applications must be completed and submitted no later than Aug. 22 at noon and can be turned in via email at [email protected] or in-person.
