Abubakari brings the boom

Bonners Ferry High senior Sulay Abubakari, a 6-foot-7-inch, 245-pound tight end and defensive end, takes part in a tackling drill at a recent Bonners Ferry High football practice. The Badgers will travel to Lakeland this Saturday to take on the Hawks at 7 p.m. for their season opener. More information on the team will be available in the Herald Fall Sports Preview, set to publish Thursday, Aug. 28.
