announces preseason lists

San Diego earned the top spot in the West Coast Conference volleyball preseason coaches poll, receiving 10 of a possible 12 first-place votes.

Coaches cannot vote for their own teams and student-athletes.

San Diego had five athletes on the 16-player squad, including former Post Falls star and rising Torero sophomore setter Kylie Munday. Munday had 912 assists in 26 matches played with 19 aces and 44 kills and was named the 2024 Co-Setter of the Year in 2024.

Sjakkie Donkers, a sophomore transfer from UT-Arlington, was named the team for Gonzaga. She had 289 kills, 207 digs and 32 blocks as a freshman.

Klaire Mitchell, the former Lake City High and Grand Canyon star, is in her first season as an assistant coach for the Bulldogs.
