Kelly Sue (Ziegler) O’Brien, 54

Kelly Sue (Ziegler) O’Brien, 54, of Post Falls, Idaho, passed away Aug. 19, 2025. She was born Nov. 26, 1970, in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, to Dave and Sue Ziegler. 

Kelly was a devoted daughter, sister and mother to her eight children as well as the best Grammy to her four grandchildren. Kelly had a love for sports, camping, the outdoors and all the crafty things. She was a passionate teacher and a loyal employee of Infinity Management as a property manager who touched many lives. 

She faithfully taught countless bible studies and Sunday schools and volunteered for several decades at a local bible camp. All while raising her eight beautiful children. Kelly was such an incredible person who touched hundreds of lives and will be sorely missed. 

She is survived by her parents, Dave and Sue Ziegler; her siblings: Lisa Wilson (James Wilson), David Ziegler (Tanya Ziegler) and Nathan Ziegler (Danna Ziegler); her children: Mallory O’Brien, Michael O’Brien, Mikaylea Glaeser, Morah Shults, Morgan O’Brien, Micah O’Brien, Mathias O’Brien and Mattie O’Brien; her grandchildren: Emerald and Arlo Glaeser and son-in-law Ethan Glaeser, Nichole and Jaxxon Shults and son-in-law Logan Shults; as well as countless aunts, uncles and cousins. 

A celebration of life will be held Sept. 5, at 5 p.m., at the Post Falls Real Life in building 2, and livestreamed on Facebook. A true style potluck (comfort food) will be held afterward for those wishing to stay.
