The evening began with the Lumberjacks and Paddlers, who combined for over 50 points in a fast-paced, high-scoring matchup. Both teams traded goals throughout, closing out their seasons with a strong showing. In the championship game, the Idaho Spuds faced the Swamp Ducks. The Ducks led for nearly the entire game, holding control on both ends of the field. With just three minutes remaining, the Spuds put together a late run of five unanswered goals, taking the lead with less than 30 seconds left. The comeback secured the win, the championship belt, and an undefeated season. The White Pines Summer League continues to grow each year, drawing more players and raising the level of competition. Planning is already underway for the league’s fourth season next summer.
