PREP SOCCER: Charter downs Coeur d'Alene JV

COEUR d’ALENE — Liam Hughes and Brooks Judd scored goals for Coeur d’Alene Charter in a 2-1 win over the Coeur d’Alene JV at Coeur d’Alene High on Wednesday. 

Rowan Wyatt scored on a penalty kick for Coeur d’Alene. 

“I was happy with our defense today,” Coeur d’Alene Charter coach Craig Daigle said. “Offensively we need to get better. We missed three or four shots in the box. But for our first game, it was a nice start. Coeur d’Alene is a solid team.” 

Coeur d’Alene Charter (1-0-0) will face Immaculate Conception at The Fields in Post Falls on Friday. 

Coeur d’Alene JV travels to Sandpoint JV on Sept. 4.
