Tristian Travis Owens, 25, of Libby passed away on Aug. 18, 2025, just shy of his 26th birthday. Born in Kalispell on Aug. 30, 1999, Tristian graduated from Flathead Valley Highschool in June of 2018. Tristian was a bright light to all who knew him—someone whose heart was as big as his smile and whose love for others was unmistakable.

Tristian was a man of deep faith, grounded in his Christianity, and committed to walking through life with love, compassion, and unwavering devotion. He wore his heart on his sleeve and had a gift for making people laugh—always ready with a joke or a kind word to brighten someone's day. To know Tristian was to know you were loved.

He is survived by his father, Timothy Owens; his mother, Melinda Galloway; his sisters, Natasha Owens, Tiffani Galloway, and Kiah Galloway; and his brothers, James Vinson and Matthew Freeman, along with numerous grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins who will miss Tristian tremendously. He also leaves behind his beloved pets, Callie his cat and Milo his dog, who brought him great joy and companionship.

Tristian’s life will be honored in a memorial service at 4 p.m. on Sept. 6, at Flathead Valley Baptist Church, 64 Dove Lane, Kalispell, MT 59901.

Though his time with us was far too short, Tristian’s impact, kindness, and spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
