WSU women's soccer coach Shulenberger takes Ole Miss job
OXFORD, Miss. — Todd Shulenberger, who coached Washington State's women's soccer team the past 11 seasons, has been named University of Mississippi women's soccer coach.
Shulenberger went 113-67-34 at WSU, including five trips to the NCAA tournament and a College Cup (final four) appearance in 2019, the third of three straight NCAA appearances.
He became the first coach in program history to cross the 100-win mark in 2024.
"My goal is to get soccer back to its winning ways." Shulenberger said of Ole Miss.
Shulenberger led the Cougars to a 7-7-5 overall record and a 5-4-2 record in the West Coast Conference in 2025, including a 1-1 tie against No. 13 Georgia. 2024 marked Washington State's first season in the WCC, finishing fourth in the conference.
That 2019 College Cup team at WSU included future Portland Thorns player Morgan Weaver, as well as former Lake City High standout Bridget Rieken.
Before taking over at Washington State, Shulenberger spent two seasons as the associate head coach at Texas Tech. In 2014, the Red Raiders reached the third round of the NCAA Championship and finished with a 16-4-2 record.
Prior to Texas Tech, Shulenberger spent four seasons as an assistant coach at Missouri, concluding with back-to-back trips to the NCAA Championship in 2011 and 2012.
Shulenberger arrived at Missouri following a two-year stint as an assistant coach at Clemson where he also served as recruiting coordinator.
