In Loving Memory of Cindy Hiett
Sept. 10, 1957 — Nov. 29, 2025
With broken hearts, we share the passing of our beloved wife, mom, sister, grandma, aunt and the glue of our family, Cindy Hiett, who left us peacefully in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho — the only place she ever called home. Born and raised in Coeur d’Alene, she made memories that shaped a lifetime of deep connection to this place. She never once wanted to live anywhere else.
Her greatest joy in life was being a mom to her daughters. She was their safe place, their biggest fan and their forever home. Cindy shared 35 years of marriage with her husband, Bob Hiett — a 43-year partnership filled with love and strength.
She shared a lifelong, unbreakable bond with her twin, Sandy Hanson, whose love and presence were always close to her heart.
She will be remembered for her smile, her fierce loyalty, her quiet strength and the way she made everyone around her feel loved.
She is survived by her husband, Bob Hiett; her daughters, April Frandsen (Jason), Tonia Rebeck (Adam) and Jenneal Symons (Dan); her stepson, Rob Hiett; her grandchildren, Ian, Logan, Amie, Lukas, Zach and Robbie; great-grandchild AmberLynn; and her siblings, Sandy, Diann, Debbie and Rose. She is also remembered by countless extended family and friends who loved her deeply.
She is preceded in death by her beloved grandchild, Andrew, whom she now holds in her arms once again; her mother, Lucille; her brother, David; her sisters, Patty and Jenneal; and her nephews, Cameron and Jerome.
A celebration of life will be held in the spring or summer of 2026. In honor of Cindy, we ask that you hold your loved ones close and never miss a chance to say, “I love you.”
She was our heart — and we will carry her in ours forever.
