David Durr, 74

David (Dave) Durr passed away at Hospice of North Idaho on Nov. 17, 2025. He was born Jan. 31, 1951, in Coeur d’Alene to Charles (Bill) and Peggy Durr. He and his brothers, Mike and Dan, grew up in Hayden Lake, with him attending Hayden Elementary through eighth grade. He then graduated from Coeur d’Alene High School in 1969.

Dave married Alice, and they raised their three sons in a log cabin he built for them in Spirit Lake. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, gardening and metal detecting. He had many lifelong friends and family who shared his passions with him.

He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years and their sons: Thad (Beki), Seth (Dana) and Will (Crystal).

He leaves behind his grandchildren: Maddi (Drew), Andrea (Justin), Mason and Nathyn (Nyfar), as well as his brothers, Mike and Dan. He is also survived by his special cousin, Fred (Peggy) White, and his sister-in-law, Janella Ward. He leaves behind many nieces and nephews who are special to him.
