Ronan Chamber of Commerce December Luncheon – 12 p.m. Dec. 4 at Ninepipes Lodge; Ronan City Council members, Lindsay Myers and Larry Hall will present several city updates, including information on the police department, softball fields and growth in Ronan.
Polson Parade of Lights – 6 p.m. Dec. 5 in downtown Polson; witness festive floats decorated for the season with food vendors, late-night shopping and a special appearance from Santa.
Cultural Awareness Day – 1 p.m. Dec. 5 at the Longhouse, 71 Blind Barnaby Street, St Ignatius; all are welcome for lunch and Sqelix sign language with Johnny Arlee.
St. Ignatius Christmas Festival – 5-8 p.m. Dec. 6 at Good Old Days Park; festivities include chili, a raffle, the sugar shack and live reindeer. Tree lighting starts at 5:30 p.m. with a parade of lights at 6 p.m. Free Santa pictures will be provided by Valley Banks.
Mission Valley Choral Society Holiday Concert Program – 1 p.m. Dec. 6 at the Mission Church in St. Ignatius and 4 p.m. Dec. 7 at the Good Shepherd Church in Polson; a drummer, flutist and the Copeland Memorial Bell Ringers join the Choral Society, under the direction of Cathy Gillhouse, for free holiday concerts featuring 15 musical numbers.
Winter on Flathead Lake – 4 p.m. Dec. 10; Kelly Minear from the Flathead Biological Station will have visuals and demonstrations relating to water density and Flathead Lake freezing over. This program will also include fun hands-on and self-paced activities.
Arts & Crafts in Polson – 1-4 p.m. Wednesdays at Summit Independent Living, 3 Ninth Ave. West, Suite 1 in Polson; join CSKT elder Tammie Miller for an afternoon of crafting, companionship and snacks. Mission Valley Degenerative Disease Support Group Meeting – 1 p.m. Dec. 6 at the Cottonwood Conference Room located at 107 6th Ave Southeast, Ronan.
Cheerful Heart Cancer Support Group – 10-11 a.m. on the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month in the third floor Leahy Conference Room at St. Joseph Medical Center in Polson; pastor Matthew Connolly leads the group, which welcomes those recently diagnosed or undergoing treatment, cancer survivors, and/or family members.
