The Boundary County Fair will ring in the new year with “New Year’s Eve Boots & Bling Cowboy Ball,” featuring live music, food, games and a silent auction and a no-host bar.

All proceeds from the Cowboy Ball will support the pavilion expansion, part of the indoor outdoor arena project.

“Our committee is so excited to bring this event to life and support these much-needed upgrades for our community space.” said Jaycee Atkins, director of the Boundary County Fairgrounds.

Doors open at 7 p.m. for cocktail hour and a silent auction, followed by dice games to keep the good times rolling, until the Copper Mountain Band takes the stage from 10 p.m. until midnight. A champagne toast and balloon drop will take place at midnight.

Organizers encourage attendees to dress in their best Western wear, boots, bling and all, and enjoy a night out while supporting a local cause.

The event is Wednesday, Dec. 31, from 7 p.m.-12:30 a.m. Tickets are $35 (plus fees) per person and are available for purchase online at https://tinyurl.com/2wtte8rv. The Fairgrounds are located at 6567 Recreation Park Road, in Bonners Ferry.
