Fear won in dispute over Sandpoint's ordinance

Fear won the argument to scrap the city of Sandpoint's non-discrimination ordinance for a weaker one.

There are privacy toilets and dressing spaces provided at YMCA but the idea of a transgender woman using any of these conjured-up unnecessary drama. While the real threat to women is straight men (as many women testified who’d been sexually abused), their fear was transferred against all transgender women. 

Nothing was accomplished by Mayor Jeremy Grimm with three of the six councilors except to agitate bigotry and sow division in our community.
